VICKI BALLARD MEMORIAL RIDE

The 2022 Vicki Ballard Memorial Ride is dedicated to the memory of Cass and Michael's sister, Vicki Ballard and Breast Cancer Awareness. Vicki battled breast cancer for seven years and passed away in August 2010 following the Sturgis Rally. Vicki loved the Full Throttle Saloon and the people who go there. She kept things in line and looked at every chance to make sure everyone was glad they came. She dedicated her heart and soul to the Throttle for this one purpose. She was side by side with Michael in making it what it is today. This is why this ride is so important to the Ballard Family and friends. Vicki is dearly missed by us all.

Rider lnformation

ALL riders are welcome, and the riders can join at any point along the way. Riders do not have to ride the entire trip to Sturgis even though we would love to have you. We have riders that have been dedicated to this ride for the last 11 years. They come from all over the country. Alabama, Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, etc... lt's all about making memories and meeting/seeing friends. We also dedicate this ride to our fallen riders- Barry Brokhurst and Butch Roberson who led this ride. ln their honor, they still make the trip every year with friends carrying two "small urns." (Butch and Barry)

On the morning of August 7th we will meet other V.B. riders from Full Throttle at Exit 110 Wall. This leg of the trip is dedicated to Lew McDowell who led this trip from F.T.S. to Wall for 7 years. We lost Lew in 2017. He is greatly missed. From there we will be headed to Full Throttle. lt will end mid-day on the 8th at Full Throttle Saloon where Mike will be waiting on everyone to arrive. We can guarantee you wlll make friends for life on this trip.
